About Us

The calendars created by Robert King all started in 1995 with the very first 1996 Mule Deer calendar. These calendars have been under a variety of names, including Mule Deer King’s, Elk King’s, Whitetail King’s, King’s Outdoor World Calendars, King’s Calendars, Robert King’s Calendars, and Monster Calendars.

They are published under the name The KING Company, LLC, which Robert King heads.  A new form of digital art was developed by Robert King in 1992, utilizing his method of recreating giant bucks and bulls in live photographic form. Robert has recreated over 1,000 images, including virtually every world-record elk and deer. His unique style and design have awarded him 48 World and National Calendar awards over the years. 

First Calendar Produced

Our first calendar was produced in 1995 and was an immediate hit. It was the first of its kind, utilizing software that was still in the early stages of worldwide adoption. This calendar marked the beginning of the company, then known as King's Outdoor World.
